The Chi Rho Bookshop, established in 1991, is a First Church ministry whose goal is to introduce seekers and believers to the great treasury of old and new books which can illumine the faith journey.  The bookshop features books dealing with growth in spirituality, decision making and faith.  The store is open before and after Sunday worship, and during the week when church groups are meeting.  It is a non-profit venture, operated on the honor system.  Call the church office at (518) 463-4449 or send email to chirho@firstchurchinalbany.org for more information.  The bookshop has added craft items from developing countries around the world.  These items are ordered through SERRV International and SELF HELP, organizations which seek to furnish needy crafts-people in 39 countries a decent return for their products.

Chi Rho is glad to order books of all kinds.  Books are sold at 15% discount from list price.  Books ordered in quantity for church use receive a special discount.
