More
than 350 years ago our mothers and fathers in the faith founded the oldest
congregation in upstate New York. On the second Sunday in May, tulip
time weekend in the city of Albany, First Church recalls its Dutch heritage
with a special service of thanksgiving. Dutch costumes and customs,
special music and hospitality, mark the occasion and provide members and
visitors with a glimpse into the church's historic beginnings and diverse
ministries in the Capital District.
