Soup & Sandwiches in the Park

During the cold winter months, some hardy volunteers brave the cold and invite all of our neighbors to a weekly meal. Hot, homemade soup and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are prepared lovingly to share. Fresh fruit, cookies and other treats round out the lunch. When available, the tables next to the soup cart house hats and gloves and other cold weather necessities for guests to take. All of the offerings are free of charge. First Church seeks to be an active participant in the life the downtown neighborhood. Our volunteers really thrive on the relationships they form each week and love to recount stories of some of our "regulars." 

Wednesday from 11:30am to 1pm

In Clee Park (or on days when the weather is less than ideal, we move to the front steps of the Church on North Pearl St.)
