We are a diverse congregation nurturing each other in our spiritual journeys and working together in ministry in our community and in the world. I hope that the information provided here will give you an introduction to the life and ministry of our congregation.

A Life of Being, Having, and Doing Enough

Why are so many of us feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and bone-weary?

Why does it feel like there just aren’t enough hours in a day?

So many people, working or retired, report they cannot find enough time to relax or find a peace of mind.  Sound familiar?

The commandment to keep Sabbath prescribes days of rest, prayer, nourishment and renewal as essential to a life well lived.  Why then are we are so reluctant to stop, be still, or allow our work to feel sufficient for this day?

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Join Rev. Susan Vincent-Cox for a small group experience where we will have some time of devotion and self-exploration around “being enough”.  A resource we will use for this time together is, A Life of Being, Having, and Doing Enough, by Rev. Wayne Muller.

Dates:            April 29th followed by2-3 additional Sundays

Time:              After the church service

Please sign up as soon as possible so books may be ordered for you. You can sign-up at the table in the lobby outside the sanctuary or you may call the church office (443-4449)

We will meet in the Parlor.  Come to any session(s) you can.  All are welcome.
